The duties of our police officers include the protection of life and property, the prevention of crime, the suppression of criminal activity, the apprehension of violators of the law, assistance in the prosecution of offenders, the regulation of non-criminal conduct, and the preservation of public order.   In order to accomplish our mission, our officers are available 24 hours a day providing patrol and investigative services. We also have available a Victim Advocate on call to assist victims and their families in time of need.

The Waldo Police Department also believes in crime prevention and to accomplish this mission we offer both residential and business security surveys, vacation house checks, a Community Care Program (designed for our senior citizens) and a speaker for your group on topics ranging from crime prevention, to identity theft, and sexual offenders in your neighborhood.

If we can be of assistance to you or your family, please do not hesitate to contact us.
